Three orphan sisters commit suicide

The tragic incident of hanging three orphan sisters took place in Barakanahal Tanda of Chikkanayakanahalli taluk of Tumkur district.

The deceased sisters have been identified as Ranjitha (24), Chandana (21) and Bindu (18) of Barakanahal Tandiya.

These sisters, who had lost their parents 10 years ago, lived with their grandmother. But the supportive grandmother also passed away recently.

Later, it is said that the sisters were suffering from mental depression. Two sisters were working in garments near Kibbanahalli.

The exact cause of death is not known. A case has been registered in this regard at Huliyar police station.
